FAQ about Actors’ Craft:

How are your fees are so competitive compared to other professional course providers?

For two reasons:

  1. We act as commercial agent between you and the prospective tutors. Though the courses are drafted directly to your professional needs, we negotiate the best prices with our tutors to make classes accessible to all, because we believe transferable skills training should not be only available to big corporate companies, firms and schools.
  2. BPP Law, Business, Health and Accountancy  Students are sponsored by BPP Student Engage and receive a discount up to 50% on courses.

 

Are your tutors professional?

Yes. All our tutors are vetted by us and interviewed before hand to ensure they posses the right and relevant skills and knowledge that they can pass on to you.

How are your courses drafted?

We draft courses according to the needs of lawyers and professionals by actively listening to the needs and desires of our students in class.

Who founded AFL?

Actors Craft for Lawyers and Other Professionals was founded in 2013 by Elisa L. Kamsky, law graduate with 15 years experience in drama.

What can I bring to class?

We recommend you bring a bottle of water and comfortable shoes.

How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

What’s the refund policy?

We are responsible for arranging and concluding classes on behalf of our partners [Tutor/Course Providers]. If you book a course or a class from us we will collect a payment on behalf of our partner as a commercial agent. The contract is created directly between you and the relevant partner for the services you buy.

It is your statutory right to cancel within 14 days of purchase of services, however, we operate by 48 hour cancellation policy as that is when funds will be released to the relevant partner and we will not be able to issue a refund.. If you wish to request a refund after 48 hours, we advice that you to contact the relevant partner.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

Yes but do notify us at least 30 mins before class that a different person is attending due to security reasons.

Can non-BPP Students attend classes?

Yes.

Is it ok to join classes if English is not my first language?

Yes, we have had many international students who had found the class helped them with English language skills and learning about British culture.
